Angela lives life with a zest to spread knowledge of the healing arts and gratitude to people she crosses paths with in her life. She believes that compassion and empathy are two of the most influential aspects of the healing process. Her true passion is Art Therapy and as a clinician her ultimate goal is to help others explore and learn to express themselves. She has been providing therapeutic services to individuals and families for the past 6 years. Angela has served many communities specializing in: mental health, addiction, palliative care, trauma informed care, grief and loss, and dual-diagnosis. She believes in opening space to explore a persons full identity and intersectionality, while maintaining cultural sensitivity and helping others create an intentional life worth living. By implementing a daily practice of eliminating judgements, she strives to allow others to feel authentically seen. Through the scope of art therapy, mindfulness practices, cognitive behavioral approaches, and attachment theory, she aims to help individuals and partners develop a deeper understanding of themselves and one another.
Utilizing the scope of Art Therapy and creative expression, clients will learn to develop a deeper sense of awareness, build self-esteem, and bring aspects of subconscious to a conscious level. Angela is here to guide clients through their unique process of healing and support them in achieving their goals as an individual and in a group setting.
