This is a service that very few treatment centers offer; however, we at Milestones Ranch Malibu believe people are entitled to support in getting their claims paid. We believe in Millennium Billing and the high quality of service they have proven to provide for our satisfied customers over the past four years. The following information is necessary for you to know before proceeding with this service.
Insurance policies and benefits vary greatly, so Millennium Medical Billing can and will help you obtain information on your policy and guide you through this lengthy process. Your employer and insurance agent can also be helpful in answering questions about your available benefits so you should also talk to them. The insurance carrier or managed care company may require concurrent reviews of your medical record during your hospitalization. If medical necessity is present, the certification of days may be given for a few days at a time. Rarely does a plan approve an entire stay upon admission. Millennium Medical Billing will work with your insurance company to provide the necessary information required in order to review for medical necessity. However, unfortunately, Milestones Ranch Malibu and Millennium Medic al Billing have no control over the outcome of these reviews.
Importantly, these reviews do not guarantee payment by your insurance carrier upon final billing. Please be aware that Millennium Medical Billing cannot hold your insurance company responsible for payment of fees. An insurance policy is a contract between you and the insurance company. Milestones contracts with you upon admission when you sign the Admission Agreement, which obligates you to pay for services rendered. If your insurance does not cover all of your treatment costs or if you are self-paying for treatment, please bring the agreed-upon payment with you when entering treatment. Incomplete or delayed financial arrangements can postpone actual admission.
To avoid any delay in your admission to Milestones Ranch Malibu, our review of your insurance or other payment arrangements is necessary. In-house financing options are available upon approval. A Milestones Ranch Malibu Admissions Counselor will work with you to make suitable arrangements to meet your financial obligations.
Millennium Medical Billing Agreement
Milestones Ranch Malibu in its efforts to help clients recoup the cost of treatment has in place a medical billing company that will assist you in navigating the insurance system and will bill your insurance company directly.
If you have coverage for residential treatment services, Millennium Medical Billing will make and follow your claim in an attempt to have the cost reimbursed up to the maximum allowable benefit.
The most important thing to note is that this process is long and tedious and can take up to a year for the claimant to access benefits.
We ask that you remain patient with the process. Millennium Billing will provide you with monthly updates regarding your claim’s status.
Again, we reiterate this is a deliberate process that takes time and patience and sometimes many, many appeals.
There is absolutely “no guarantee” that any cost will be reimbursed but every effort will be made including pre certification, concurrent reviews, filing a claim and if claim is denied a subsequent appeal will be filled on your behalf.
Millennium Medical Billing is a separate company and will charge a fee of six percent (6%) of the total amount reimbursed from your insurance company.
If your claim is denied and no costs are reimbursed, you will not be charged any fees.
Millennium Billing retains the right to end this contract at any time, should the claimant become harassing.
