Jason Thomas, C.Ht. Intern
Jason Thomas began his career with Milestone Ranch Malibu in 2007, first as a residential advisor then transitioning to his current role as Admission Coordinator in 2009. Jason is the first contact clients have with Milestones, he begins a successful therapeutic alliance while supporting clients in their life-changing decision to enter treatment. Jason connects with the clients, initially disarming them with reflective listening and compassion. When speaking to clients Jason speaks from experience as he is a former Milestones client and a continuing success story. His personal experience combined with his training as a Certified Hypnotherapist make him an essential member of Milestones team. He particularly excels with tough cases, clients who exhibit strong defensive mechanisms or those labeled by others as high-risk, he is able to connect them as a fellow recovering person, a father and a friend.
Prior to joining the Milestone team, Jason had a ten year career as a financial advisor. In 2007 he made the decision to continue his own growth journey by starting a new career where he could work with others to help break their destructive patterns. Compassion and a thorough understanding of the full journey make the groups he leads among the clients favorites.
