Dr. Cory Campbell - Consulting Clinical Psychiatrist
Biography:
Dr. Campbell completed her M.D. at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and her Ph.D. in Psychopharmacology at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Dr. Campbell received her training in psychiatry at UCLA’s Neuropsychiatric Institute and is board certified in the practice of psychiatry. Dr. Campbell has broad clinical experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She worked at UCLA’s adult inpatient units and in the general adult outpatient clinics. While at UCLA, she also taught psychodynamic psychotherapy to psychiatry residents and treated the mentally ill forensic population with the Department of Mental Health.Dr. Campbell has extensive research experience and completed a two-year research fellowship in substance dependence at UCLA. Her research involved investigating the effects of PCP-like agents on learning and memory and the effects of stress on relapse in amphetamine addicts. Currently, Dr. Campbell has a successful private practice in general adult psychiatry. She treats patients with primary mental health issues and dual diagnoses.
